Welcome to "The Dakota Ramblers Band" Website

"This site is dedicated to our fans, friends and families"

The Dakota Ramblers originated in South Dakota in 1945 . Part of the band moved to Minnesota in 1956, while the remainder chose to stay in South Dakota....theoretically producing two bands going by the Dakota Ramblers name....one in Minnesota and the original in South Dakota. Yes, we know...sort of confusing and "REALLY?"  at the same time.

The Dakota Ramblers Band continues to fill dance halls  and dance floors with true Honky Tonkin', real Country Music......the way it used to be done ....just Real Country.
We thank all past, former members of this band for their contributions along the way . This band has evolved thru many changes over the years in  personnel, show format and business operations.

Thank you for visiting our website. Please feel free to leave comments or questions or drop us a line via email or a phone call. Thanks to all of you  who have been supporting and following this little band for all of these years, and thanks to all of you new Dakota Ramblers fans and followers....we appreciate each and every one of you! Don't forget to check out our videos on YouTube . We'll see you at our next show!

It was really great to meet new fans, Mario and Vanessa at the Prior Lake VFW on Saturday, November 26, 2016. They had driven all the way down from Elk River to see the band and meet Bruce and get a picture taken with him. They said they had seen several of our shows in the past and wanted to see us in Prior Lake. It was a great pleasure meeting this really nice couple!

We give our hats off salute to Mr. Alan Jackson for his great, wonderful showing of support for Real Country Music at the 50th CMA Awards show. We're behind you Alan!

A sad note to pass along to all you folks....in the passing of Branson area Country Music Artist and Songwriter, Lance Griffith. We send out our condolences to Lance's family, his band, The Midnite Prairie Band and his many friends and fans in Country Music.

**********************************THANK YOU EVERYONE******************************
We are extremely proud to announce that on October 26, 2014, The Dakota Ramblers Band was inducted into the "LEGENDS OF SOUTH DAKOTA COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION". The induction was held in Mitchell, South Dakota. This is the greatest honor this band has ever received and we are truly humbled and grateful. Words cannot express our appreciation to the Board Members of the Legends of South Dakota Country Music Association, its members, and to all of our fans and friends who have supported this band thru out the years and helped us to keep Real Country Music alive and well.
