Welcome to "The Dakota Ramblers Band" Website

"This site is dedicated to our fans, friends and families"

The Dakota Ramblers originated in South Dakota in 1945 . Part of the band moved to Minnesota in 1956, while the remainder chose to stay in South Dakota....theoretically producing two bands going by the Dakota Ramblers name....one in Minnesota and the original in South Dakota. Yes, we know...sort of confusing for some at times.

The Dakota Ramblers Band continues to fill dance halls  and dance floors with true Honky Tonkin', real Country Music......the way it used to be done ....just Real Country.
We thank all past, former members of this band for their contributions along the way . This band has evolved thru many changes over the years in  personnel, show format and business operations.

Thank you for visiting our website. Please feel free to leave comments or questions or drop us a line via email or a phone call. Thanks to all of you  who have been supporting and following this little band for all of these years, and thanks to all of you new Dakota Ramblers fans and followers....we appreciate each and every one of you! Don't forget to check out our videos on YouTube . We'll see you at our next show!

Hello Folks...As you are all aware, we are in the middle of a World health crisis, and Minnesota bars, clubs and restaurants are open on a limited basis, and most with no live entertainment, will be until further notice. That means we all need to be kept safe and healthy for ourselves and everyone else. Hopefully, this will pass soon and we can all resume normal lives again.
But until then, we won't be entertaining live until further notice.....and I promise...I will get emails out to everyone on our band list when all is safe again and the bars and clubs re-open and let us play again. However, if you are considering a private, outdoor party , celebration or get-together....we would love to entertain for you. Please give me call at 952-465-1861.
In the meantime, KCHK Radio does play our music on their fine station from time to time and they do take requests. So, please give them a call and request a tune by The Dakota Ramblers Band. I'm sure they'll be glad to play one for you. Their phone number is 952-758-2571.
If you would rather have a CD, please contact me, and I'll be sure to get one off to you. The cost is $10.00, and I'll even pay the shipping.
Thanks folks... Please stay healthy and be careful out there! See you soon!
