The Dakota Ramblers Band originated in South Dakota in 1956 and has been in continuous operation. The two founding members, Goody Johnson and Mel Mertz left this band with a legacy and deep roots in Real Country Music that we are proud to carry on to this day.
The Dakota Ramblers Band continues to fill dance halls and dance floors with true Honky Tonkin', real Country Music......the way it used to be done ....just Real Country.
